With two decades of experience in supply chain procurement—dealing with commodities like raisins, rice, and livestock—Steve sought to design and build a common system to replace outdated technologies. His journey through companies like Cargill, and fresh fruit packers like Stemilt, Sunsweet, and Sun-Maid, deepened his appreciation for cooperative business models and the intricacies of payment and procurement within the industry.
